1) The National Museum of African American History and Culture!

The National Museum of African American History and Culture is the only national museum devoted exclusively to the documentation of African American life, history, and culture. 2) Research and coloring project from Here Wee Read!

Here Wee Read is a must-follow account for diverse and inclusive books, kid-friendly products, and family experiences from Charnaie Gordon. This coloring printable features an array of influential Black/Afro-Latino/a celebrities, athletes, politicians, artists, and activists. Each day during the month of February (or any time of the year), color in a person or an object until the whole poster is complete.

The idea is to either read a book, do research, or work on a craft project about each person featured in the list. By the end of the challenge, you should be more familiar with each person and their achievements. Learn more here.

4) The King Center's virtual Students With King Reading Corner!

The Students With King Reading Corner is a youth initiative designed to support reading literacy in schools. One of the primary goals of the Reading Corner is to share quality subject-related readings that expose students to authors and books that directly or indirectly cover social justice issues and/or concepts related to the Beloved Community.
