Hellosaurus (New York, NY) is the provider of this site and the data controller for the limited data described here. Questions about privacy: support@thehellosaurus.com.

No tracking

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We do not show ads, and we do not have user accounts.

Data kept in your browser

The Session Planner, Story Match and Games save your plan, quiz result and star count in your browser's local storage so they are there next time. This data never leaves your device. You can remove it with the Clear and Reset buttons or by clearing your browser's site data.

Contact form

If you send a message, we store your email address and message in a private storage bucket on Cloudflare R2, Hellosaurus's own bucket. We use it only to reply to you. We delete it after 12 months, or sooner if you ask at support@thehellosaurus.com.

AI features

When you use the Story Extender, the text you type is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI, which runs an open Meta Llama model, to create the answer. We do not store that text. Please do not enter your child's name, location or other personal details.

Third parties

Cloudflare hosts this site and provides R2 storage and Workers AI.

Fonts, images and scripts are served by this site itself; your browser makes no requests to other third parties.

Children's privacy

This site is written for parents, grandparents, caregivers and teachers, not for children to use alone. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us personal information, write to support@thehellosaurus.com and we will delete it.
